Another stormy sky over London but I didn't take this one. It's titled ‘Holly Street Estate, 1988′ and comes from Chris Dorley-Brown's 'Hackney Archive'. I recently purchased it from Contact Editions as a 10×12″ Digital C-type (
edition of 200) and it cost just £30 plus postage! More info from the Contact Editions website.
A crafty shot I took at a Martin Parr Private View at Strand Gallery last night. Parr's recent Oxfam commission - 'What Would You Save' - highlights how climate change is currently affecting people in the Mekong Delta. There's a You Tube clip here and a piece on the Guardian website showing portraits from Vietnam and a series shot with celebrities in the UK. Grayson Perry's portrait (with teddy/"living god", Alan Measles) features in the show.

I took this at around 05:45 this morning as it reminded me of a painting I saw 10 years ago in an Auckland art gallery. Leafing through an old notebook I found a sketch of the painting and the artist's name: Sir George Clausen.
